Amazing. Just 12% of America’s High Schools product more than half of the nation’s dropouts - wow. I’m so proud to a small part of City Year a nonprofit organization that brings together diverse 17 to 24 year olds to help curb this dropout crisis.

I would love to see a map of the “dropout factories” and lay it over data sets in a GIS program, comparing dropouts to concentrated areas of poverty and other factors.
