John Legend performed for City Year on May 18, 2010. The tribute performance by Legend was part of City Year’s In School & On Track National Leadership Summit.

He gave a brilliant performance and he shared some words of appreciation for City Year before he sang. Before and during the show, we were all tweeting and sending updates about how Mr. Legend was about to perform for City Year, at Paramount studios in LA.

After the show, @JohnLegend gave a shout out to City Year on Twitter. For sure, one of the best mentions @CityYear has ever received on Twitter. Thank you John Legend!
